Everything You Need to Know about ISACA CGEIT Certification Exam

CGEIT is a vendor neutral certification that IT professionals who are responsible for IT enterprise governance can use to validate their skills. The ISACA offers the CGEIT (Certified in governance of enterprise IT) certification. It is a vendor-neutral certificate. It is for IT professionals in large organizations that are responsible for managing, directing and supporting IT governance. You will need to complete the exam in person within four hours. The exam is 150 multiple-choice CGEIT Exam Questions. CGEIT Exam Passing is possible by completing 450 of 800 testing locations. Domain 1 is about establishing a framework to govern enterprise IT. This will help the organization achieve its goals and objectives while optimizing risk. It also contains all the requirements, principles and processes necessary to establish, manage, and maintain a framework for IT governance. Domain 2 is about aligning IT with enterprise goals and creating a strategic plan that helps the organization understand how changes in business strategy will affect IT strategy. This domain covers knowledge about IT roles and responsibilities as well as documentation and communication methods. Prioritization processes, barriers to strategic alignment, future and current technologies, and prioritization processes are all covered. Domain 3 is about benefits realization. This is the process of monitoring, tracking, and reporting on IT investments to ensure they deliver optimal business benefits. This domain includes knowledge of KPIs and benefit calculation techniques, as well as how to monitor and measure performance and outcome. It also covers continuous improvement concepts and principles. Domain 4 is about risk optimization. This involves ensuring that IT risk management frameworks are aligned with enterprise risk management (ERM). Risk optimization requires knowledge of applicable legal and compliance regulations, as well as the ability to communicate risks to senior-level executives. Knowledge of disaster recovery planning (DRP), business continuation planning, standard risk management frameworks and key risk indicators is required. You also need to be able to report on analytic data.
You will need at least five years of relevant experience, with at least one year in Domain 1 and four years in at least two of the 5 other domains.
